I was told to look at Sci-fi buildings, or buildings with interesting shapes. I looked into movies like the Matrix or Blade Runner. I also started looking into Shape designs from Star Wars or Star Trek. I mostly look at Star wars because it was sharper more masculine versus Star Trek which has a softer design. 

These buildings were for concept ideas for a DJ space and event buildings for an interactive experience for guests to enjoy as if they were whisked away in another world.

At a certain pointed, they wanted more "cruchy" So, I started incorperated more cruchyroll designs with wires and tubes that reminded me of the Matrix.
